Ode to Club Heat

Ask anyone who spent a night on that floor and they will tell you Club Heat was more than a bar with a DJ in it. Jeannie Ricusso held the resident booth, and she is pulling the crates back out for one night at Indigo Chapel, five hours of old-school anthems and continental cuts played by the person who made them mean something here in the first place. A 50/50 raffle runs through the evening. So does a door prize basket, though only guests who show up in drag or their best nineties look are eligible for it. Ninety tickets, twenty-one and over, and the whole night goes to the animal welfare teams ELRECS backs.
